As primary elections kick off today in five different states, including Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Virginia, and Washington, America’s Credit Unions has announced that its PAC is supporting pro-credit union candidates in many of these races, as well as the Tennessee primary on Thursday and one in Hawaii on Saturday. These are the last set of primaries before the general election in November.

Though America’s Credit Unions did not specify which candidates in particular—save for the few it called “key races”—the organization did share that the PAC has donated to the campagins of four candidates in Kansas, 11 in Michigan, five in Missouri, eight in Virginia, and six in Washington, five candidates in Tennessee and one in Hawaii.

Regarding those previously mentioned key races, America’s Credit Unions identified two they’re paying special attention to:

  • Michigan’s 13th Congressional District, where current State Rep. Donovan McKinney is seeking the Democratic nomination.
  • Tennessee’s newly redrawn 9th Congressional District, where State Sen. Brent Taylor is competing for the Republican nomination.

Credit unions can track the success of America’s Credit Unions-backed candidates as well as find more information on the ACU PAC on the organization’s Election Hub.
