Only 68 Credit Unions Made the List This Year, and the Florida Credit Union is 1 out of 4 in the State
Tampa, Fla. — GTE Financial, one of Florida’s largest and most community-focused credit unions, has been named one of American Banker’s 2025 Best Credit Unions to Work For. Ranked 20th within the 68 credit unions making the list, this national recognition celebrates GTE’s commitment to creating an inspirational and supportive workplace that attracts the next generation of professionals while also honoring the contributions of tenured team members.
This award is presented in partnership with Best Companies Group and is based on a two-part employee survey process. Over 480 GTE employees, a 94.2% participation rate, provided feedback on eight key workplace factors, including leadership, corporate culture, communication, and engagement. The second part of the process evaluated benefits and workplace policies. GTE is proud to have achieved a 91% overall satisfaction rating.
